Episode 182: Try Softer Will Help

Try Softer
Buffy Barfoot

After attending Love Letters from the Afterlife at Red Rocks—a tribute to the late poet Andrea Gibson featuring their final performance alongside the Colorado Symphony—Buffy found herself returning to one simple phrase from Andrea's work: try softer.

In this episode, she explores what it means to meet life with less force and more presence. Through stories and reflection, Buffy considers how softening can become a daily practice for the body, heart, and spirit.  What changes when you stop pushing against your circumstances? What does softness look like when it meets your loss and grief?
